Any crime that involves violence against or infringes upon the liberty of another is a hate crime, period. A crime against one is a crime against all. We should not assume that a criminal act committed against one and the same act committed against another, that is assumed to result from the color of one's skin, their lifestyle, or their personal beliefs, is mutually exclusive. Nor should we accept that justice will result from appeasing one while combating the other. I agree absolutely.
