Should we be concerned?
This is an interesting view about illegal immigration. Wake up Maui!! We are told by the Maui Police that there are over 10,000 illegal immigrants just on Maui. Do you think they know how to work the system. They use our schools, hospitals, and social services. That is our money that we dont have a say in how it is spent.

Here is an example of why hiring illegal visitors is not economically productive for the State of California … or any state for that matter.
You have 2 families…”Pete Legal” and ” Frank Illegal”.
Both families have 2 parents, 2 children and live in California .
A. “Pete Legal” works in construction, has a Social Security Number, and makes $25.00 per hour with payroll taxes deducted….
B. “Frank Illegal” also works in construction, has “NO” Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash “under the table”.(no rec ords, no IRS, not paying taxes into our USA system)
A. ‘Pete Legal“…$25.00 per hour x 40 hours $1000.00 per week = $52,000 per year. Now take 30% away for state federal tax Pete Legal now has $31,231.00
B. ‘Frank’ Illegal…$15.00 per hour x 40 hours $600.00 per week, $31,200.00 per year. Frank Illegal pays no taxes… Frank Illega l now has $31,200.00
A. Pete Legal pays Medical and Dental Insurance with limited coverage
$1000.00 per month x 12 = $12,000.00 per year Pete Legal now has $19,231.00
B. Frank Illegal has full Medical and Dental coverage through the state and local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year $0 x 12 = $0 Frank Illegal still has $31,200.00
A. Pete Legal pays for food $1,000.00 per month x 12 = $12,000.00 per year. Pete Legal now has $ 7,231.00
B. Frank Illegal has no $ documented income and is eligible for Food Stamps and Welfare. Frank Illegal still has $31,200.00
A. Pete Legal pays rent of $1,000.00 per month x 12 = $12,000.00 per y ear
Pete Legal is now in the hole (in debt) Minus (-) $4,769.00
B. Frank Illegal receives a $500 per month $500.00 x 12 = +$6,000.00 Federal rent subsidy. Frank Illegal still has $25,200.00
A. Pete Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part-time job after work.
B. Frank Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family (tv., lake, zoo,games,etc)
Pete Legal and Frank Illegal’s children both attend the same school.
A. Pete Legal pays for his children’s lunches (2 x $2.00) x 5 = $20.00 per week
B. Frank Illegal’s children get a government sponsored lunch. Free 0 x $0 = $0
A. Pete Legal’s children go home to do homework, watch tv. maybe ‘latch-key’ kids
B. Frank Illegal’s children have an after school programs, snacks, child care, etc.
Pete Legal and Frank Illegal both enjoy the same Police and Fire Services, city services, protection, etc……..but
A. Pete Legal paid $$$$ for the police and fire services, city services, protection….
B. Frank Illegal did NOT pay ( Free, no $$$$, no taxes) for the police and fire services.
Don’t vote/support any politician that supports illegal visitors

I think im gonna be sick……..MPD, stand up, where are the ID s that you require us to present you ? When you run us, you run us NCIC IC, what do you do with the ones with an ID that does not match up? Was in the DMV the other day, watched a man with NO ID trying to get a liceince.????At least the state worker told him “no ID, no licience” We, as Americans that go by the rules, PAY our insurance, follow the LAW, are outraged by this.
